Umeå-based life science startup company Diduco AB is looking for a business administration student with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will be engaged as a part-time asset in our customer discovery on the international arena.

Diduco is built around a small multinational team of skilled chemists so the natural company language is English, but together we are fluent in nearly ten languages.


Your mission is to prospect customers among laboratory managers at small and mid-sized pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in several countries. You will be identifying laboratories that may benefit from Diduco’s flexible products and services to improve chemical analysis procedures. Your work will focus on sales operation activities, including information gathering about industries, organisations and their employees. The position may also include outbound sales activities such as initial customer contact, booking meetings and follow-up, but it is not a closing sales role.

We believe you are a business administration student in the later part of your studies that wish to expand your practical capabilities. Experience with prospecting tools and social business networks such as LinkedIn and/or their Sales Navigator are required, and it is meriting if you have previous experience from other business-to-business sales roles. As a startup we are learning by doing, meaning that our sales process is likely going to be influenced by your ideas and contributions. This part time assignment can be combined with full time studies, but requires a motivated individual with entrepreneurial ambitions, international curiosity, a humble attitude, and lots of grit. The right person will be engaged via Uminova Innovation’s entrepreneur program and you will invoice your consultancy services from your own company at fixed conditions (200 SEK/h). The workload is 10-15 hours per week, and continues through eight weeks or more, starting as soon as possible.
